This facility achieved an extremely aggressive schedule considering the winter. It broke ground on October 20th 2014, dealt with rock excavation and sinkholes, had the building enclosed by the end of the year, and the Doctor started seeing his first patients at the end of March 2015 for an overall 5 month time frame. The technical challenges of this project included the seamless integration of both the dental equipment and utilities as well as the specialized IT/AV integration issues with this type of facility.
“Joe is very organized and is a true professional. Even if it was a problem, it wasn’t a problem in the way it was communicated. That’s a gift,” Alvarez said. “His communication and responsiveness were always his highest priorities. If we needed to make a decision, he kept us all on the same page and if I needed to be pushed to make a decision, he did so with grace. He always presented the pros and cons of each scenario that allowed me to make informed decisions with every aspect of the project.”
