Versum Materials, a spin-off of Air Products and Chemicals, needed a renovated work space for its Lehigh Valley employees
Ramping up a spin-off company has its own set of challenges and SAGE Design/Build, Inc. is the right partner to ensure that the build-out aspect runs smoothly.
SAGE’s latest construction project was a perfect blend of many different construction management approaches. The project was a build-out for Brookwood Properties and its tenant, Versum Materials, an Air Products spin-off.
While the project was contracted with Brookwood Properties, the construction was guided by Christine Stelz, project engineering manager of Versum Materials. The new space, which was ready for occupancy at the end of June 2017, required a renovation of an estimated 20,000 sq. ft. Not unlike any other construction project, SAGE Design/Build navigated a variety of change requests, extended township approvals and other scenarios, but always kept on track. The project came in under budget and employees occupied the space earlier than planned.
