SAGE Breaks Ground on $9M River Crossing YMCA Nazareth Branch Addition + Renovation

SAGE was honored to join River Crossing YMCA and community members on May 21 for the groundbreaking ceremony for the $9M addition and renovation. The SAGE team will lead the project as Construction-Manager-At-Risk, stewarding the modernization and expansion of the over 100 year old building. Initially, SAGE worked with the YMCA stakeholders and design team with pre-construction services in 2023.

In addition to breaking ground, project team and community members wrote reflections on the Nazareth Y’s long lasting role in their community for the legacy capsule. The facility will remain open during the duration of the project, as SAGE constructs the space in phases. The addition will house a preschool, expanded childcare services, studio, new track, basketball courts, cafe and lobby.

We are honored to play a role in its next chapter, modernizing and expanding the campus to better serve the evolving needs of residents for generations to come.”

SAGE was awarded this project through a qualifications-based selection process earlier this year. The team will see the project through its carefully coordinated phases with a planned completion of December 2027.
